ITZY Members' Colors: Each Member's Color Season, Explained

ITZY Members' Colors: Each Member's Color Season, Explained — Korean color analysis palette

ITZY's five members land in four color seasons: Yeji and Yuna read as Bright Winter, Lia as True Summer, Ryujin as Deep Autumn, and Chaeryeong as Warm Autumn. Ryujin and Yuna had a professional personal color session in a 2022 ITZY vlog (warm, deeper Autumn for Ryujin; cool, vivid Winter for Yuna), and our reads follow it. The other three are editorial reads of undertone, depth, and contrast, with the close calls flagged.

Who is in ITZY right now?

ITZY has five members: Yeji (the leader), Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. The line-up has not changed since the group debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2019. Lia stepped back for health reasons in September 2023 and returned in July 2024, and all five members renewed their contracts with JYP in September 2025, so this page covers the full group.

Do ITZY members have official personal colors?

Fan wikis list a member color for each of them, but those are fandom identity colors (lightsticks, merch), not personal color analysis. The closest thing to an official reading is a 2022 episode of ITZY's own vlog series in which Ryujin and Yuna sat for a personal color session with a professional analyst, as Koreaboo reported. Ryujin came out as a warm Autumn suited to darker shades, and Yuna as a cool Winter suited to vivid and pale contrasts. We follow those results. Yeji, Lia, and Chaeryeong were not draped on camera, so their seasons below are our own reads.

How we read each member's season

We judge three axes from fan-cam close-ups, behind-the-scenes clips, and lightly made-up appearances rather than finished photo shoots, because comeback styling (bleach, colored contacts, heavy contour) hides the base. Undertone asks whether golden or rosy pigment dominates the complexion. Depth asks how much darkness the hair, brows, and irises carry overall. Contrast asks how far apart the lightest and darkest features sit, and whether the coloring reads crisp or hazy. Combine the three and you get one of the 12 Korean color seasons.

Treat the three photo-based verdicts as informed opinion. Nobody here draped those members in person, broadcast color grading varies wildly, and camera filters warm or cool skin unpredictably. Whenever a call is close, the section names the runner-up season too.

Yeji (예지): Bright Winter (브라이트 윈터)

Undertone: cool. Yeji's skin reads clear and cool rather than golden, and cool-based makeup sits cleanly on her while warm, earthy shades look muddy. Depth: light skin, dark features. Her natural hair and eyes are very dark. Contrast and clarity: high. The gap between her dark features and bright skin is large, and her eyes read crisp and light-catching rather than soft. Cool, high-contrast, and clear is the Bright Winter profile, which matches our Yeji color season page.

Judgment call: True Winter is the neighboring read. Both are cool, high-contrast Winters, and the difference is whether her coloring leans toward electric clarity or toward plain cool depth. We keep Bright Winter because clear, saturated shades suit her better than deep, quiet ones.

Best colors for Yeji: electric blue, clear fuchsia, icy mint, vivid violet, true cool red, with black and white as neutrals. Dusty rose, olive, camel, and mustard are the shades most likely to dull her. See the full Bright Winter palette.

Lia (리아): True Summer (트루 서머)

Undertone: cool. Lia's fair skin reads rosy rather than golden, and soft pinks and cool blues sit naturally on her. Depth: light to medium. Her natural hair is a soft dark brown rather than black. Contrast: medium and soft. Her features stand out against her skin without a sharp edge, and her coloring looks gentle and blended rather than vivid. Cool, medium, and soft is the True Summer profile.

Judgment call: Lia is the hardest member to pin on depth. Weighted toward her very fair skin, she could read as a Light Summer, and if you see her coloring as more muted than clear, Soft Summer is the other neighbor. All three are cool Summers, so the practical palette barely changes. We keep True Summer because medium-depth rose and cool berry suit her better than the palest pastels.

Best colors for Lia: rose pink, lavender, dusty blue, soft mauve, cool berry. Bright orange, mustard, and stark black are the shades most likely to overpower her. See the full True Summer palette.

Ryujin (류진): Deep Autumn (딥 오텀)

Undertone: warm. This is the call the 2022 vlog session settled: the analyst placed Ryujin in a warm Autumn tone. Her skin reads golden-beige rather than pink. Depth: deep. Her natural hair and eyes are very dark, and the analyst said darker shades suited her best. Contrast: medium to high. Her features are bold and well defined, but the overall effect is rich and warm rather than icy. Warm plus deep is the Deep Autumn profile.

Judgment call: from photos alone, Ryujin's strong features and dark hair make Deep Winter look plausible, and that is the read you will often see on fan charts. The in-person session found warm, which moves her to the warm side of the same depth. We follow the session, since draping in person beats reading a photo.

Best colors for Ryujin: dark chocolate, burgundy, forest green, burnt sienna, deep teal. Pale pastels and icy grays are the shades most likely to wash her out. See the full Deep Autumn palette.

Chaeryeong (채령): Warm Autumn (웜 오텀)

Undertone: warm. Chaeryeong's skin has a golden, honeyed warmth, and earthy shades look natural on her where icy ones look pasted on. Depth: medium. Her natural dark brown hair and eyes sit between light and deep. Contrast: medium, with a soft finish. Her coloring blends rather than snaps, so it reads warm and rich more than bright. Warm, medium, and gently blended is the Warm Autumn profile.

Judgment call: if you see her coloring as more muted than golden, Soft Autumn is the neighboring read, and the two share most of a wardrobe. True Spring is the other neighbor if you weight her brightest stage looks. We keep Warm Autumn because camel, terracotta, and olive look better on her than the clear corals that suit a Spring.

Best colors for Chaeryeong: terracotta, camel, olive, rust, warm teal, with cream and chocolate as neutrals. Icy pastels, cool gray, and stark black-and-white are the shades most likely to drain her. See the full Warm Autumn palette.

Yuna (유나): Bright Winter (브라이트 윈터)

Undertone: cool. In the 2022 vlog session the analyst placed Yuna in a cool Winter tone. Yuna said fans tend to assume she suits warm colors but she had always felt cool tones suited her better, and the analyst agreed. Depth: light skin, dark features. Her natural hair is dark against fair skin. Contrast and clarity: high. The analyst said vivid colors and pale-versus-vivid contrasts suited her best, which is the signature of a Bright Winter rather than a deep or icy True Winter.

Judgment call: Yuna's youthful, bright energy is why many readers, including an earlier version of our Yuna color season page, have often placed her in Bright Spring. Bright Spring and Bright Winter are neighbors that share high clarity and differ on undertone, and the in-person session found cool. We follow it. Bright Spring remains the neighboring read if you see more warmth in her than the analyst did.

Best colors for Yuna: bright white, electric blue, hot pink, icy pink, clear red, vivid purple. Dusty, grayed shades and muddy browns tend to dull her. See the full Bright Winter palette.

What does ITZY's season mix look like as a group?

Our reading puts ITZY across four seasons: two Bright Winters (Yeji and Yuna), one True Summer (Lia), one Deep Autumn (Ryujin), and one Warm Autumn (Chaeryeong). That makes the group 3-to-2 cool-to-warm, the same split as i-dle and the mirror image of LE SSERAFIM.

ITZY is a good group for seeing why undertone matters more than vibe. Ryujin and Yuna both have dark hair and strong stage presence, yet the session found a warm undertone for one and a cool undertone for the other, and each was the opposite of what fans tended to guess. Yeji and Yuna share a season, which is why the same electric, high-contrast styling flatters both, while it can look loud on Lia, the softest of the five.

ITZY's high-energy concepts lean toward saturated color, which suits the two Bright Winters most naturally. Matching outfits have to flatter four different palettes at once, so individual pictorials give a clearer view of what suits each member.
