SEVENTEEN Members' Colors: All 13 Members' Color Seasons, Explained

SEVENTEEN Members' Colors: All 13 Members' Color Seasons, Explained — Korean color analysis palette

SEVENTEEN's thirteen members spread across eleven color seasons in our reading. Jun and Wonwoo are True Winter, S.Coups Deep Winter, Woozi Bright Winter, Jeonghan Light Summer, Joshua Soft Summer, The8 True Summer, Hoshi True Spring, Seungkwan and Vernon Light Spring, DK Warm Autumn, Mingyu Deep Autumn, and Dino Soft Autumn. No member has been draped on camera, so each is an editorial read with the close calls flagged.

Who is in SEVENTEEN right now?

SEVENTEEN has thirteen members: S.Coups (the leader), Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. All thirteen renewed their contracts with Pledis Entertainment in 2026. Several members are completing mandatory military service in this period, but none has left the group, so this page covers all thirteen.

Do SEVENTEEN members have official colors?

Fan wikis list member colors, but those are fandom identity colors, not personal color analysis, and we found no member draped for personal color on camera. So every season below is our own editorial read of each member's undertone, depth, and contrast. Four members already have their own pages on this site, and this post keeps their verdicts in sync with those pages.

How we read each member's season

We judge three axes from fan-cam close-ups, behind-the-scenes clips, and lightly made-up appearances rather than finished photo shoots, because comeback styling (bleach, colored contacts, heavy contour) hides the base. Undertone asks whether golden or rosy pigment dominates the complexion. Depth asks how much darkness the hair, brows, and irises carry overall. Contrast asks how far apart the lightest and darkest features sit, and whether the coloring reads crisp or hazy. Combine the three and you get one of the 12 Korean color seasons.

Treat every verdict as an informed opinion. Nobody here draped these members in person, broadcast color grading varies wildly, and SEVENTEEN's members change hair color often. Whenever a call is close, the section names the runner-up season too.

S.Coups (에스쿱스): Deep Winter (딥 윈터)

Undertone: cool-neutral. S.Coups's skin reads neutral to slightly cool rather than clearly golden, and cool jewel tones sit more cleanly on him than mustard or camel. Depth: deep. His natural hair and eyes are very dark and his skin is medium, so his overall coloring is weighty. Contrast: medium to high. His dark features stand out sharply against his skin. Deep coloring on a cool-leaning base is the Deep Winter profile.

Judgment call: his undertone sits close to neutral, so Deep Autumn is the neighboring read on the warm side of the same depth. We keep Deep Winter because charcoal, cool burgundy, and deep emerald look sharper on him than olive and rust.

Best colors for S.Coups: deep charcoal, dark navy, deep plum, dark burgundy, deep forest. Pale pastels and warm, muted beiges are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Deep Winter palette.

Jeonghan (정한): Light Summer (라이트 서머)

Undertone: cool. Jeonghan's very fair skin reads pink rather than golden, and cool pastels sit naturally on him. Depth: light. His skin is among the fairest in the group, and his features are delicate. Contrast: low to medium. Even with his natural dark brown hair, his coloring looks soft and luminous rather than stark. Cool, light, and gentle is the Light Summer profile.

Judgment call: depth is the open question. Weighted toward his natural dark hair, True Summer is the neighboring read. We keep Light Summer because powder blue and soft rose brighten him more than medium-depth Summer shades.

Best colors for Jeonghan: powder blue, pale rose, soft lavender, cool mint, icy pink. Black, heavy browns, and saturated orange are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Light Summer palette.

Joshua (조슈아): Soft Summer (소프트 서머)

Undertone: cool. Joshua's skin reads cool and slightly muted. Depth: medium. His hair and eyes are dark brown rather than black. Contrast: low to medium, with a soft finish. His coloring blends gently, so dusty, grayed shades flatter him while vivid brights sit on top of him. Cool, medium, and muted is the Soft Summer profile, which matches our Joshua color season profile.

Judgment call: if you see more clarity in his coloring, True Summer is the neighboring read. Both are cool Summers, so the practical palette barely changes.

Best colors for Joshua: dusty rose, grayed lavender, muted teal, soft blue-gray, cool mauve. Neon brights, orange, and stark black-and-white are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Soft Summer palette.

Jun (준): True Winter (트루 윈터)

Undertone: cool. Jun's skin reads fair and cool, with no strong golden cast. Depth: light skin, dark features. His natural hair is black and his eyes are dark. Contrast: high. The gap between his dark hair and fair skin is strong, and his features are sharply defined. High contrast on a clearly cool base is the core of True Winter.

Judgment call: Bright Winter is the neighboring read if you weight the clarity of his coloring over its coolness, and Deep Winter is the other neighbor on depth. We keep True Winter because pure, cool saturated colors suit him better than the electric or the very dark extremes.

Best colors for Jun: true black, bright white, royal blue, emerald, cool fuchsia. Warm orange, mustard, and camel are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full True Winter palette.

Hoshi (호시): True Spring (트루 스프링)

Undertone: warm. Hoshi's skin has a golden warmth, and warm, lively shades bring his color up. Depth: light to medium. Contrast and clarity: medium, with clear coloring. His coloring reads fresh and bright rather than smoky. Warm and clear at a light-to-medium depth is the True Spring profile.

Judgment call: Hoshi is one of the harder warm reads. If you see his coloring as richer and more earthy than bright, Warm Autumn is the neighboring read. We keep True Spring because coral and clear warm yellow look lively on him while heavy browns flatten him.

Best colors for Hoshi: coral, peach, warm ivory, camel, turquoise. Icy pastels, cool gray, and stark black are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full True Spring palette.

Wonwoo (원우): True Winter (트루 윈터)

Undertone: cool. Wonwoo's skin reads cool rather than golden. Depth: light skin, dark features. His natural hair is very dark against fair skin. Contrast: high. That hair-to-skin gap is the defining feature of his coloring. Cool plus high contrast is True Winter, which matches our Wonwoo color season page.

Judgment call: Deep Winter is the neighboring read if you weight the darkness of his features over their contrast. Both are cool Winters with nearly the same wardrobe.

Best colors for Wonwoo: true black, bright white, royal blue, emerald, cool fuchsia. Camel, peach, and warm, muted earth tones are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full True Winter palette.

True Black#1A1A1ACore
Bright White#F8F8F8Core
Royal Blue#2040C0Neutral
Emerald#1A8050Statement
Cool Fuchsia#C02080Accent

Woozi (우지): Bright Winter (브라이트 윈터)

Undertone: cool-neutral. Woozi's very fair skin leans pink-neutral rather than golden. Depth: light skin, dark features. His natural hair is very dark, which is easy to forget because it is so often dyed. Contrast and clarity: high. Very fair skin against near-black hair makes a large value gap, and his coloring reads clear rather than muted. High, clear contrast on a cool-leaning base is Bright Winter.

Judgment call: Woozi is the member most changed by hair color. With lightened or pastel hair his contrast drops enough that Light Summer becomes the neighboring read. We read him on his natural dark hair, which keeps him in Bright Winter.

Best colors for Woozi: bright white, electric blue, hot pink, vivid purple, icy mint. Dusty, grayed shades and muddy browns are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Bright Winter palette.

DK (도겸): Warm Autumn (웜 오텀)

Undertone: warm. DK's skin has a clear golden warmth, and earthy shades look natural on him. Depth: medium. His hair and eyes are dark, and his skin is medium. Contrast: medium. His coloring reads warm and rich rather than stark or icy. Warm, medium, and rich is the Warm Autumn profile.

Judgment call: Deep Autumn is the neighboring read if you weight his dark features over his medium skin. We keep Warm Autumn because camel, terracotta, and warm teal suit him at least as well as the very darkest Autumn shades.

Best colors for DK: terracotta, rust, honey gold, olive, warm brown. Icy pastels, cool gray, and stark black-and-white are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Warm Autumn palette.

Mingyu (민규): Deep Autumn (딥 오텀)

Undertone: warm. Mingyu's skin has visible golden warmth even under stage lighting. Depth: deep. His hair and eyes are very dark and his skin is tan-medium, the deepest overall coloring in the group. Contrast: medium to high, but rich rather than icy. Warm plus deep is the Deep Autumn profile, which matches our Mingyu color season page.

Judgment call: Deep Winter is the neighboring read on the cool side of the same depth. We keep Deep Autumn because chocolate, olive, and burgundy look more natural on him than true black and icy white.

Best colors for Mingyu: dark chocolate, burgundy, forest green, burnt sienna, deep teal. Pastel pink, icy blue, and cool gray are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Deep Autumn palette.

The8 (디에잇): True Summer (트루 서머)

Undertone: cool. The8's fair skin reads rosy-cool rather than golden. Depth: light to medium. His natural hair is dark, but his features are fine-boned and his skin is light. Contrast: medium and soft. His coloring looks refined and blended rather than stark. Cool, medium, and soft is the True Summer profile.

Judgment call: Soft Summer is the neighboring read if you see his coloring as more muted than clear, and True Winter is the other neighbor if you weight his dark hair. We keep True Summer because cool rose and slate blue suit him better than either dusty grays or stark black.

Best colors for The8: rose pink, lavender, dusty blue, soft mauve, cool berry. Orange, mustard, and heavy warm browns are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full True Summer palette.

Seungkwan (승관): Light Spring (라이트 스프링)

Undertone: warm. Seungkwan's fair skin reads peachy rather than pink. Depth: light. Contrast: low to medium, with clear coloring. His features read soft and bright rather than sharp or smoky. Warm, light, and clear is the Light Spring profile.

Judgment call: this is one of the closer calls in the group. Undertone is the uncertain axis, and if you see his skin as cool-neutral, Light Summer is the neighboring read. True Spring is the other neighbor on depth. We keep Light Spring because peach and soft coral look fresher on him than cool pastels.

Best colors for Seungkwan: light peach, soft coral, warm ivory, light aqua, butter yellow. Black, burgundy, and stark, heavy darks are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Light Spring palette.

Vernon (버논): Light Spring (라이트 스프링)

Undertone: warm-neutral. Vernon's skin reads light with a peachy warmth. Depth: light to medium. His eyes are lighter than most of the group's. Contrast: low to medium. His coloring reads soft and clear rather than stark. That light, warm, gentle profile is why our Vernon color season page places him in Light Spring.

Judgment call: Vernon is the most contested member in SEVENTEEN, and reads of him range from Light Spring to Deep Winter depending on whether you weight his lighter eyes and skin or his dark natural hair. We keep the Light Spring read from his own page, and this is the verdict in the group we hold most loosely.

Best colors for Vernon: light peach, soft coral, warm ivory, light aqua, butter yellow. Black, burgundy, and stark dark shades are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Light Spring palette.

Dino (디노): Soft Autumn (소프트 오텀)

Undertone: warm-neutral. Dino's skin reads warm but not strongly golden. Depth: medium. His hair and eyes are dark brown. Contrast: medium, with a soft finish. His coloring blends rather than snaps, so it suits muted, earthy shades more than bright ones. Warm, medium, and muted is the Soft Autumn profile.

Judgment call: Warm Autumn is the neighboring read if you see more golden warmth in him, and Soft Summer is the other neighbor if you see his undertone as closer to neutral. We keep Soft Autumn because soft camel, sage, and warm taupe flatter him without overpowering his coloring.

Best colors for Dino: soft camel, dusty peach, warm taupe, muted olive, soft terracotta. Neon brights, icy pastels, and stark black are the shades most likely to work against him. See the full Soft Autumn palette.

What does SEVENTEEN's season mix look like as a group?

Our reading spreads SEVENTEEN across eleven of the twelve seasons. Four members are Winters (S.Coups, Jun, Wonwoo, and Woozi), three are Summers (Jeonghan, Joshua, and The8), three are Springs (Hoshi, Seungkwan, and Vernon), and three are Autumns (DK, Mingyu, and Dino). That makes the group 7-to-6 cool-to-warm, about as even as a thirteen-person group can be.

With thirteen palettes in one lineup, coordinated stage outfits almost have to settle on neutrals, monochrome, or a single statement color, and some members will always be better served than others. In our reading, the four Winters are the members best suited to stark black-and-white styling, while the Autumns and Springs come alive in warmer color.

Two pairs are especially useful for seeing how the axes work. Mingyu and Wonwoo both have very dark hair, but one is warm and deep while the other is cool and high-contrast, so the same black suit sharpens Wonwoo and can look heavy on Mingyu. Jeonghan and Seungkwan both have light, gentle coloring, but undertone splits them into a cool Summer and a warm Spring.

Which SEVENTEEN palette is closest to yours?

Pick the member whose coloring resembles yours, then borrow his color direction. Cool, high-contrast coloring like Jun's or Wonwoo's suits saturated jewel tones: see the True Winter lipstick picks and True Winter eyeshadow guide. Warm, deep coloring like Mingyu's wants cocoa, brick, and bronze: try the Deep Autumn lipstick roundup. Fair, cool, gentle coloring like Jeonghan's or The8's points toward rosy, muted shades: browse the True Summer lipstick picks. Light, warm coloring like Seungkwan's or Vernon's glows in peach and soft coral: check the Light Spring lipstick guide. Unsure which describes you? A free selfie analysis sorts out your undertone, depth, and contrast and tells you which SEVENTEEN member shares your season.

All thirteen verdicts also appear in our K-pop idol color season database, a downloadable CSV covering every group we have analyzed. For context on how rare or common these palettes are among everyday people, our study of the most common color seasons tallies 1,705 selfie analyses.
